Sura 104: The Backbiter (Al-Humazah) ( سورة الهمزة )
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
١:وَيلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ
[104:1] Woe to every backbiter, slanderer.
٢:الَّذى جَمَعَ مالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ
[104:2] He hoards money and counts it.
٣:يَحسَبُ أَنَّ مالَهُ أَخلَدَهُ
[104:3] As if his money will make him immortal.
٤:كَلّا لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِى الحُطَمَةِ
[104:4] Never; he will be thrown into the Devastator.
٥:وَما أَدرىٰكَ مَا الحُطَمَةُ
[104:5] Do you know what the Devastator is?
٦:نارُ اللَّهِ الموقَدَةُ
[104:6] GOD‘s blazing Hellfire.
٧:الَّتى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الأَفـِٔدَةِ
[104:7] It burns them inside out.
٨:إِنَّها عَلَيهِم مُؤصَدَةٌ
[104:8] They will be confined therein.
٩:فى عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ
[104:9] In extended columns.
