Sura 107: Charity (Al-Maa`oon)‎ ( سورة الماعون )‎

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

١:أَرَءَيتَ الَّذى يُكَذِّبُ بِالدّينِ

[107:1]  Do you know who really rejects the faith?

٢:فَذٰلِكَ الَّذى يَدُعُّ اليَتيمَ

[107:2]  That is the one who mistreats the orphans.

٣:وَلا يَحُضُّ عَلىٰ طَعامِ المِسكينِ

[107:3]  And does not advocate the feeding of the poor.

٤:فَوَيلٌ لِلمُصَلّينَ

[107:4]  And woe to those who observe the contact prayers (Salat)—

٥:الَّذينَ هُم عَن صَلاتِهِم ساهونَ

[107:5]  who are totally heedless of their prayers.

٦:الَّذينَ هُم يُراءونَ

[107:6]  They only show off.

٧:وَيَمنَعونَ الماعونَ

[107:7]  And they forbid charity.
