Sura 99: The Quake (Al-Zalzalah) ( سورة الزلزلة )
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
١:إِذا زُلزِلَتِ الأَرضُ زِلزالَها
[99:1] When the earth is severely quaked.
٢:وَأَخرَجَتِ الأَرضُ أَثقالَها
[99:2] And the earth ejects its loads.
٣:وَقالَ الإِنسٰنُ ما لَها
[99:3] The human will wonder: “What is happening?”
٤:يَومَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخبارَها
[99:4] On that day, it will tell its news.
٥:بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوحىٰ لَها
[99:5] That your Lord has commanded it.
٦:يَومَئِذٍ يَصدُرُ النّاسُ أَشتاتًا لِيُرَوا أَعمٰلَهُم
[99:6] On that day, the people will issue from every direction, to be shown their works.
٧:فَمَن يَعمَل مِثقالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيرًا يَرَهُ
[99:7] Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it.
٨:وَمَن يَعمَل مِثقالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ
[99:8] And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.
